It's been awhile. On August 31, 2012 I lost my childhood home due to a fire. Nobody was hurt which was the most important part. A combination of the fire and the fire department destroyed the basement where my layout was. The layout was mostly damaged by the ceiling tiles falling from the water from the fire department. I was able to save most of the locomotives, cars, and track. Happy about that!
We as a family ended up staying with my god sister in the her home, then ended up buying it 6 months later. Our new home has a way bigger and better basement for my new Michigan South Central Layout.
For my blog, I decided to keep the information of the old layout with labels beginning with OLD MSCR. Now it's a new chapter and a new layout........CAN'T WAIT TO GET STARTED!!
